The spinach sown in the cold frame is peeking it’s tiny seedling head out of the cold, damp soil.  The temps have been basically near to slightly above (day time) freezing since they seeds were planted.

Spinach and beets (photo April 22) were planted in cold frame initially.

In the house, the pepper plants are struggling to rise above the surface–with only about 5 out of 50 having made an appearance.  Don’t know if it’s temperature, seed, planting depth, etc.

Tomato plants and cabbage doing wonderfully!
